If you follow me on Instagram (if not, how come? Come come. On the kick drum), you already know I died over these shiny oxford shoes, ordered two pairs, panicked, and ended up keeping both colors. [Rose gold pair here!] I honestly should be the last person giving you guys advice. I need a straight jacket and an accounting 101 lesson, but that isn’t fun and honestly it’s too late for me. Save yourselves.
I typically shy away from the shorts/flats combo because my legs are the shorter than the rest of my body (longest torso on Earth), but there is something very ‘cool girl’ about this look I couldn’t resist trying and I’m so glad I did! I grabbed this sweater on a whim after work one night. It was the only one left on the rack and that always convinces me that it’s meant to be. It’s a medium, which I actually like for a little looser fit. I wore it on a date night recently and it’s just as cute with jeans. Although, I don’t recommend it if you are going to have your arm hovering over chips and salsa. Ehm. Life’s bleachable moments.
Lastly, I totally tried out the silk scarf around the neck trend here and I gotta be honest, I was into it! I felt very French. I honestly can’t even remember where I got this scarf, but I tagged a similar one up top. Forever21 has some really fun options, like this little anchor print that is literally $4.
LASTLY FOR REAL. This is a total side-note, but I wore this super cute orange one-piece in Charleston over the weekend and just had to share it! It’s only $24. The juice AND the squeeze, ya heard. What? It’s been too long since my last Drake reference. [ I am wearing a small, but probably could have scooted up to a medium due to the aforementioned #LongTorsoProblems ]
